Boat and Pilots
The company currently has one boat:
Chinook Wind, built in 1998 by VIP Marine, Grants Pass, Oregon. The Chinook Wind is 28 feet long, 11 feet wide and constructed of marine-grade aluminum. The Chinook Wind has recently been re-powered with Fuel Injected 6.0 Litre Chevrolet engines boasting 365 horsepower each, coupled to two AmericanTurbine SD-309 jet drives. The Chinook Wind carries 20/22 passengers.
The Chinook Wind needs only 8-12 inches of water in which to operate (while on plane), and can travel at 25-35 miles per hour.
Our boat is modern and comfortable with padded seats, a sun top and restroom. the Chinook Wind passes an annual Coast Guard inspection and our pilots are Coast Guard licensed. |
